Nathan Smedley

I have over 10 years of experience in the investment management and financial services industry. While starting my practice with a large Wall Street firm I developed a desire to provide my clients independent advice and guidance; unhindered by sales goals, production quotas or proprietary products.  After many months of careful consideration and research I decided to join LPL Financial in early 2009 as an independent financial advisor.

I live in Landenberg PA with my wife Colleen and our three children. I serve as an Arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA); the governing body for investment and financial advisors. I graduated from Temple University with a degree in Finance. I hold the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation.

I provide my clients with objective, timely advice based on their unique personal and financial qualities.  I believe that one size does not fit all and that what works for one client may not work for another.  I believe that transparency and clear, honest communication are the foundations of a fruitful long term relationship with my clients.  I have structured my practice on a fee based model; where clients pay an annual fee based on a small percentage of their assets. The advice and recommendations I give are for the health of the portfolio not to generate a commission.
